Yesterday the Diocese of Nottingham came together to celebrate the Chrism Mass, with 100s filling the Cathedral, including a number of school groups who assisted in the liturgy, through singing, reading, and in processions.

Had a lovely time at the Chrism Mass meeting up with brother priests. Alas on the way to the hall for lunch, I’ve slipped and broke my lower leg. Operation in the morning to put plates and bolts in around my knee. Prayers would be appreciated for me and the surgeons.
