When discussing concerns on the expansion of the PA workforce & role, I have heard stated:

“Concerns are only being raised by a vocal minority on SoMe”

“Those complaining have not worked with PAs”

“Most teams who include a PA work well together”

“PAs help with training time…

I 💯 accept the caveats that there is still work to do, and the issue isn’t resolved.

However I was glad to be part of the Royal College of Physicians team who attended the meeting which has resulted in NHS England stating clearly:

“PAs are not doctors, and cannot and must not replace…
