The best indoor rowers in the world are in Mississauga this weekend for the World Rowing Indoor Championships.

Haydn Watters is not one of them, but he met up with some rowers and tried his very best.

After 96 kilometres and just under nine hours, Alex Cutulenco ran the entire TTC subway system, lines 1 through 4 (with help from Kathleen Lawrence and Brian Putre).

CBC Here and Now Favourite ornament is the only one that goes up every year the lonely Redball that hangs on my Charlie Brown Christmas tree because it just isn’t Christmas until until that tree goes up

CBC Here and Now I haven’t put up a tree in a few years - but this year the magic of putting it up and decorating it feels fun again with a little one. The magic of kids and this season

CBC Here and Now this angel tops one of the three trees in my house. It was my grandma’s ornament when she was little. The dress and wings were replaced sometime back in the 70’s. It must be close to 100 years old by now. It warms my heart every time I put it on my tree.

CBC Here and Now I have 4 ornaments that my mum and dad bought their first Christmas together in 1952. There were 12 originally. My sister has 5. I lost one to a tree falling over. I think they paid 75 cents for them. They have both passed and so the ornaments mean a lot to me.
