I lived in a building in Montreal for 17 years. One day men knocked on our doors saying there was a new owner and we had to go. Everyone was evicted, including a couple in their 80s. All 6 units in the building were then turned into Airbnbs. Owner has 150 listings on the site.

We’ve done it before. We’ve stopped mega-casino and mega-Ferris wheel on our beloved waterfront. Let’s now stop the mega-spa. Ontario Place for All © why can’t we just have mature willow trees, a natural beach and sunsets on our lake?

Okay - but I bet I've spent more time in Grey County than anyone else on this list. Parting points for that as I bite the dust?
