The Cultural Tutor Lord Byron was 'linked' to 2nd Countess Charlemont, and on a visit to her estate at Marino in Dublin, he wrote a poem for her dog, Nep, who died during the visit. You can see it inscribed on stone, on the grounds of Casino Marino
