In #Uzbekistan , early marriage&limited sexual education contribute to low #HIV awareness among young women.

In 2021, the number of 18-19 y.o. girls married rose by 50% since 2015.

Only 14% of women aged 15-49 have comprehensive HIV knowledge, dropping to 10% among 15-25 y.o.

Big kudos to #Armenia for making important step in #HIV prevention! Recent changes introduced by MOH, backed by community advocacy &international collaboration, now extend post-contact HIV prevention services to all. A significant move towards commitment to end AIDS by 2030!

Today jointly with the Republican AIDS Centre a two-day training started it work. The purpose of the event is to empower partners & strengthen their skills in communication & SMM.
