Perhaps look at how many have closed down because they're too expensive to operate with UK power prices. Sheerness closed over a decade ago, after operating since the early 70s. Rotherham barely ran end of 2023.

And this is what makes 2019 all the more galling as it is obvious to outside academics and experts what the Uk needs is proper investment in infrastructure, public services and industry. The LP in 2019 offered this and ways of dealing with inequality, wider economic justice.

This org really intrigues me. A lot of their developments seem to be really high quality forward thinking, attractive and set up for modern town/city living needs. Then others like this set up another low-density sprawling car-dominated neighbourhood.
