So far this year, more than 7,500 acres in Virginia have been scorched by wildfires.
For perspective, in a typical year, about 9,500 acres burn.
That means we've already reached 80% of the annual total just in the first quarter of 2024 🔥

Nuclear and modern renewable energy sources are both vastly safer and cleaner than fossil fuels.

From the perspective of both human health and climate change, it matters less whether we transition to nuclear or renewables, and more that we stop relying on fossil fuels.

Baltimore about to embark on a natural air quality experiment... Less activity at the Port, but more idling elsewhere in the city/region due to changing traffic/transportation patterns.
