The surge in housing commencements has continued

🏡 Work began on 4,900 homes in March, an increase of 51% on March last year. The highest in any March since records began in 2015.

🏡 Building began on 11,956 homes in the first 3 months of ‘24. ⬆️ 63% on the same time in ‘23

MARA’s Chair and CEO met with Darragh O’Brien, Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage to update on the significant progress made since MARA’s establishment. The support & positive working relationship across the Department are critical in realising our shared objectives. We appreciate the support.

Sinn Féin have made it v clear that they are against key home ownership supports. They’ve said they will abolish them. Yet some TDs continually ask questions about enhancing or extending the same supports.

Do they tell their constituents that it’s Party policy to scrap them? 🤔

As part of the 397 new social and cost rental homes in construction at the Hole in the Wall Road site in Donaghmede, Respond Housing have a total of 1,452 homes under construction.

For 30 years FCS & their professional service team of 20 volunteer counsellors have provided a low cost/no cost counselling service to the people of #Fingal .
