Logan, a Nicklaus Children's patient, was one of the kids enrolled in the FIU clinical trial, which was seeking to use a new, more personalized approach to treat some of the most aggressive cancers in children.

Nicklaus Children's The goal? To help cancer patients “by identifying the right drug for the right patient at the right time,” said FIU researcher Diana Azzam.

Logan “is living proof that this approach works; it improves outcomes,” Azzam said. “We’re on the right track.”
