The latest MBRRACE UK report on maternal deaths was released today and there still remains an almost 4 times higher rate in the disparities between Black and white Women.
More needs to be done to change the disparities we all know too well.

Suicide continues to be the leading cause of direct maternal death between 6 weeks and 12 months after birth, accounting for a staggering 39% of deaths in this period. More must be done to make sure we reverse the trends we’re seeing. #mbrrace #MakeAllCareCount #EveryonesBusiness
