illness in Europe (late-19th to the mid-20thC). Another great occasion for ML colleagues from French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese Studies to work collaboratively on transnational insights into a key topic.

It’s a very small thing, in reality, but I’d love just once to see our PM - or any senior politician - deliver a message in French. Or German. Or Spanish. Or Mandarin. Or any other language other than English and show even the most basic of decent manners like others do to us.
