Prioritizing environmental justice means providing all communities with a seat at the table. It's clear that President Biden and his administration are committed to engaging with stakeholders as part of — something I appreciate as a co-chair of Environmental Justice Caucus.

As a founding co-chair of the Senate’s first-ever Environmental Justice Caucus, I'm proud President Biden’s admin has made environmental justice a real priority. This week will highlight historic EJ initiatives—from Justice40 to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we're making progress at long last.

In order to help tackle climate change, we must ensure environmental justice communities also have equal access to clean energy solutions. Tune in to U.S. Department of Energy’s Communities LEAP webinar today at 3:30 EDT to learn more about how DOE is working to make that happen.⬇️

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal does not go far enough to restore and protect the environmental justice communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

We can and must do more to invest in a brighter future for all Americans.👇

Let's be clear: To achieve environmental justice for all, we have to treat every day like Earth Day.

Here's what I've done the last two years to move us closer to that reality👇🌎

This , we are thinking about Hazel Johnson, mother of the environmental justice movement.

It's time to do right by her and everyone who has suffered from living near air pollution, contaminated water, and toxic waste.

Environmental justice is about following the golden rule. I co-founded Environmental Justice Caucus with Tammy Duckworth and Sen. Cory Booker because we have a moral obligation to provide Americans with clean air to breathe and clean water to drink, regardless of race or zip code. It's time to act.

When Hazel Johnson moved to Chicago & learned her community was a dumping ground for toxic waste from nearby factories, she refused to stay silent. Decades later, I'm proud to continue her work for environmental justice for all as co-founder of the Environmental Justice Caucus in the Senate.

With Senator Tom Carper and Sen. Cory Booker, I launched the first-ever Environmental Justice Caucus in the Senate because no child should grow up without clean air and safe water.

With a plan like President Biden's, we’re one step closer to making that a reality.
