Tune into BBC Radio 3 this evening, or BBC Sounds for 30 days, to hear this concert from the wonderful BBC Singers with conductor Owain Park, recorded back in February and including my choral piece ‘If This Island…’ alongside works by James MacMillan and Judith Weir!
A wonderful project to work on. Come along to the The Marian Consort performance this evening (details below) who will be joined by the Jericho Youth Choir in the public premiere of a new piece I created through Music at Oxford workshops with the children at St Barnabas Primary.
It was fabulous to hear the ORA Singers with conductor Suzi Digby OBE rehearsing the new piece I’ve composed for them! The performance is tonight Kings Place in a varied programme by many exciting composers. Come along to support these wonderful singers 🎶
18 April — Celebrating #Holst150 with his extraordinary choral works and music by Grace-Evangeline Mason Electra Perivolaris Urmas Sisask and Charles Villiers Stanford. Harpist Olivia Jageurs joins us for ‘Choral Hymns from the Riga Veda’ (set 3) and her arrangement of ‘Venus’ from ‘The Planets’.
Lovely review for the The Marian Consort album, which includes my piece ‘A Winged Woman’ as its titular track! Very well deserved by all the wonderful singers with director Rory McCleery.
Delighted that I’ll have a new piece, ‘Our Shared Planet’ for SATB Choir and Children’s Choir, included in this concert by the The Marian Consort. It was composed through workshop sessions with the wonderful children of St Barnabas Primary School. Thank you Music at Oxford !

I’m so delighted to have my choral work included in this BBC Singers performance Kings Place on Friday evening. Such an honour to be included alongside the music of Judith Weir and James MacMillan ! Come along to hear these brilliant singers with conductor Owain Park .
Really looking forward to this performance by Tangram on Saturday LSO St Luke's which includes my piece ‘The Sleeping Warrior’ for flute and percussion composed for Daniel Shao and Beibei Wang and inspired by the mountain contour lines of my Scottish and Greek island heritage.

It was a dream come true to hear a new carol I composed for Magdalen College Choir of Magdalen College performed by them yesterday at the Advent Service in Magdalen College Chapel Oxford. Thank you to all the wonderful singers and Informatur Choristarum Mark Williams for this incredible experience.
