I am grateful to meet the European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans & Fisheries HE Virginijus Sinkevičius, who launched a €40M 🇪🇺 funded project to help Uganda tackle deforestation, and advance climate action. The EU in Uganda is a number one partner of climate action in 🇺🇬.

Yesterday, I met with His Excellency, the EU Commissioner for Environment, Oceans & Fisheries Virginijus Sinkevičius . Our engagement revolved around the pivotal role of young people in the realization of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the grander global sustainability agenda.

MBALE: I attended an extended Bugisu sub region security meeting to solve the leadership impasse at the embattled Gumutindo Coffee Cooperative Enterprise Ltd at RCC’s Board Room. Hon Nandala Mafabi represented BCU.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting with ADC in Uganda 🇦🇹🇺🇬 along side my colleagues EU Youth Sounding Board in Uganda 🇪🇺🇺🇬 The points in discussion spoke to access to justice and the hindrances there to. My passion was equally revitalized and I see hope for the justice system in Uganda.

Yesterday I joined other board members of EU Youth Sounding Board in Uganda 🇪🇺🇺🇬 and Faraja Africa Foundation following an invitation from Dr. Katja Yvonne Kerschbaumer & Johannes Frauscher for a joint dialogue on justice sector work plan for priorities at the ADC in Uganda 🇦🇹🇺🇬 and how the youth can help in implementing these priorities.

Recently, the EU Youth Sounding Board in Uganda 🇪🇺🇺🇬 held a joint dialogue with the ADC in Uganda 🇦🇹🇺🇬 under the stewardship of Dr. Katja Yvonne Kerschbaumer and Johannes Frauscher. We shared youth perspectives on criminal justice, good governance, accountability and social service delivery. We look forward to further engagement.
