The EU is supporting responsible energy consumption. Ecolux is a supplier of energy-efficient cooling systems that is also a beneficiary of two EU-funded consultancy projects via EBRD. After completing, Ecolux has proven excellent results and promotes energy sustainability.

Small and medium enterprises from Moldova will receive financing from the EU through EIB Global. EIB Global has signed a 50 million euro loan with Moldova Agroindbank (maib), the largest bank in the Republic of Moldova, focusing on green investments of small businesses.

Starting the 2024-2025 school year, pupils will study
about energy & climate, including sustainable energy use, recycling, & reducing carbon footprint, in a program supported by the EU in the Republic of Moldova & UNDP Moldova .
