A wonderful bronze statue of the lion-headed deity Maahes ❤️ son of the goddess Bastet whose name means 'he who is true beside her'. It’s about 50 cm tall & missing a sun-disk so very big for a votive statue. The inscription calls upon Wadjet goddess of Lower Egypt

fragment of a sphinx statue of King Amenhotep III whose throne and personal names are inscribed in the cartouches. Even though the finest details have been finished, some traces of paint remain of the sculptor's preliminary sketch Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien

Despite the absence of any text naming the king depicted in this smiling idealised likeness, he can be identified as Thutmose Ill because of its similarity to other securely dated statues of him.

A masterpiece from 2nd century BC Egypt Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien

Sarcophagus of the priest Panehemisis with scarcely any undecorated surface. Most of the hieroglyphic text concerns the sun’s nocturnal journey through the underworld. Work finished prematurely leaving a few areas blank
