Junior was once a Lion Kids Camp attendee. Never before have we seen a Lion Kid fall so in love with what we do.

He's now completed his schooling - sponsored by the Jeremy Lucas foundation - and interned with us. We wish Junior luck as he goes off to college!

This quarter, our Ngare Mara team have been incredibly busy. Working in concert with other conservation organisations, with local stakeholders and herders, they've done great work for wildlife conservation.

They've responded to predator attacks, fought wildfires and much more.

In Samburu culture, all wildlife belongs to women. And yet, too often women find themselves on the outside of wildlife conservation efforts.

Our Mama Simba programme was designed as a means of enfranchising women into lion conservation. Watch for more.

We recently released our Kura’s Pride Community Animal Health Initiative (CAHI) report for January through March.

The CAHI project ensures that community-owned animals get the healthcare that they deserve. In this way we keep them, and the wildlife they live near, disease free.

On Monday, we had the great pleasure of hosting a Lion Day – a day to spread awareness about lions and the work that Ewaso Lions does.

It was an amazing day with 130 people attending to come and learn about how our work impacts the area.

Thanks for coming everyone!
