Both appliances were funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage with chassis supplied by Westward Scania & bodybuilding by HPMP fire

We would like to thank crews from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service who this evening attended our #Belfast site after the discovery of a small fire.

A well-practiced evacuation was undertaken. All personnel safe & accounted for, and the fire is out.

The safety of all personnel is our #1 priority.

“NIFRS are currently dealing with an incident within Belfast Harbour Estate. NIFRS have been in attendance since 17:17hrs on Thursday 11th April 2024.

There are approximately 40 firefighters in attendance dealing with the incident.'

We are very sorry to hear Ashbourne Station Officer Ciarán Finn has passed away.

Always very helpful and accommodating when visiting the station there

Investigations are continuing into the death of a couple aged in their 70s and 80s in a house fire on the Lower Glanmire Road in the city.

We currently have units dealing with a fire on Lower Glanmire Road.

The road is currently closed, please avoid the area ⚠️

This is the van that has been burnt on Central Drive in Derry.

It’s understood masked youths set the van alight around 4:15pm.
