The Food Professor Crazy. Along with it they continue to overtake energy which makes everything more expensive including our exports......a recipe for a poorer future.
The Food Professor Well said. I have said something similar for over two years now - Canada does not have a food policy worth the name. It is not serious in addressing the stresses of our food system. It shows no interest in the matter whatsoever and is far, far down the priority list.
The Food Professor Do not forget rising interest rate will affect the interest payments on the debt accumulated by the Liberals! That too, will impact food security!
The Food Professor Hopefully people will not speculate on the false belief that localized conflict drives crop prices. Only need to look at Ukraine to see “experts” incorrect understanding of commodities and global food structures
Many Canadians are aware that Statistics Canada's food data isn't entirely precise. But just how inaccurate is it? Sylvain Charlebois and Michael LeBlanc discuss this in the latest episode of The Food Professor Podcast, sponsored by @caddle.

Thank you to Bill Maher for honoring Poutine during his monologue last night. That's all I really heard...
