Friends bids farewell to Constance Vidor and wishes her well in retirement. Over the past 13 years, she has shared with us her love of literature and of learning. Constance was recently honored as Director of Library Services Emerita, and will forever be part of our community.

Friends thanks Executive Director of the FriendsCouncil, Drew Smith, for hosting Quakerism 101. Drew lead an insightful discussion on Quaker beliefs and practices and the role of Meeting for Worship for parents, faculty and staff.

In February, thousands of students across NY State participated in the New York Math League competition, including students from Friends. Today students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 were recognized for their outstanding achievement in the New York Math League. Congratulations to all!

In honor of Women’s History Month, Friends hosted a panel entitled “Women in Executive Leadership: Choice, Power, and Change” during US assembly. The event lifted up the stories of four pioneering women — all parents at Friends who serve in executive leadership positions.
