When you're 100 years old (or a Kindergartner), sometimes you need help remembering what the focus, or purpose of a task is. Miss Zaragoza Fort Worth Independent School District did just that ask she kept typing the learning back to the objective as the lesson progressed. Teacher clarity for the win!

Visited Mrs. Lisa Smith's White Settlement ISD classroom yesterday and was not only impressed by the structure she added to a group task, but that she has published a book with her students using Studentreasures. Exceptionally proud of the classroom community Mrs. Smith cultivates.

We are so proud of GoTeach11 intern Ms. King for being awarded teacher of the month in December. Ms. King's 4th grade Arlington ISD students exceeded the districts' goals in approaches, meets, and masters! Congratulations on a well-deserved recognition!

We are so proud of our GoTeach11 intern teacher, Mrs. Kemp, for being nominated as a Campus Exemplary Educator Northwest ISD. People are saying, 'If all schools can have more teachers like Mrs. Kemp, our students' education will take us far and provide a better future.' WOW!

One of our intern teachers Arlington ISD had a unique system for utilizing Cold Call with her 1st graders using rubber duckies! Love seeing how our teachers personalize the formative assessment techniques we emphasize before they enter the classroom.

During today's Lesson Facilitations, new teaching candidates practiced integrating key skills from their Teaching Workshops as they taught a full lesson to students from @brewerhighwsisd's teaching program. GoTeach11 is all about #performancebased learning!

It was an honor to celebrate Dr. Harrison McCoy at his retirement ceremony. Harrison has been an integral part of the certification team at ESC Region 11 and he will be greatly missed. Congratulations on a successful career and thank you for making our world a better place.

We are excited to announce a new addition to our team! Jimmy Heffernan began his teaching journey as a secondary math teacher and joins us with 24 years of educational experience, most recently serving as an AP at Granbury ISD. Welcome to the team!

Today two of our specialists, Becky Wilder and Stevi Norris, shared some GoTeach11 best practices with the Consortium of State Organizations for Texas Teacher Education. We strive to build teachers' confidence and capacity through high-quality teaching workshops.

GoTeach11's first round of site visits has kicked off for the 2023-2024 school year! Since late August, we've visited 80 schools within 30 school districts near and far. We are super impressed with this year's batch of teachers and can't wait to share the #greatness they bring.
