#EHF2024 presented an opportunity for Facilitation Group Sherpas and Ambassadors Bessler & Michael Koehler to discuss #localisation in humanitarian efforts, aiming to build on #GrandBargain 's progress to pave the way forward.

In light of the many humanitarian catastrophes worldwide, coordination between donors and their humanitarian partners - especially local organisations - is even more important: #EHF2024 with more than 1,200 participants, 40 panels and meetings. 🇺🇳 🇪🇺🇩🇪

At #EHF2024 Ambassador Michael Koehler stressed the urgent need for reform and find new paths in humanitarian governance and financing to remain relevant as conflicts lengthen, climate change worsens, and humanitarian needs deepen.
