Congratulations to Mehdi Khalihgi Stanford Radiology who developed this MR-guided PET recon to improve PET quality. Shows the power of combined PET/MRI. Not sure why any patients should get PET/CT of the brain anymore unless there are contraindications to MRI. ISMRM GE HealthCare

Great real world study by Amish Doshi - showing that image-based AI image enhancement performed better for reducing room time (what really matters) compared w/ k-space based methods. The image-based methods are also intrinsically vendor neutral - another plus! Subtle Medical, Inc.
Interesting article but not sure I’m convinced that the double e4 allele CAUSES Alzheimer’s. Also, the eye candy labeled as a CT scan doesn’t look like any I’ve ever seen, and CT is not very useful for AD. At least it is not upside down. The New York Times nytimes.com/2024/05/06/hea…
Yes, there’s a Neuro Networking Pool Party, plus so much more! Check out the full #ASNR24 schedule and register now. We can’t wait to see you in Las Vegas May 18-22! ow.ly/4Yla50Rtwna

Would it help if an AI algorithm could reduce the MR contrast dose by 90% without losing diagnostic accuracy? Asking for a friend. 😉 Subtle Medical, Inc. #SubtleGad Bayer Health
Campbell 🍅🥫 Agree! Non-con breast MRI using AI seems impossible to me unless 1) we make large advances in DWI imaging resolution and motion robustness or 2) AI is developed which somehow can pick up the noncon changes of NME/foci. 🤔
AI-assisted low dose gad makes far more sense.
Thank you to Dr. Michele Johnson for her leadership of the American College of Radiology Pipeline Initiative for the Enrichment of Radiology (PIER) program. 👏🏾👏🏾
We ran into each other today at #AUR24 and discussed innovative ways to expand the diversity of medical students entering radiology.
Congratulations to Yongkai Liu, PhD, a 2024 David M. Yousem Research Fellow Award recipient. Recipients will be presenting their projects during #ASNR24 in Las Vegas. Get more information here: ow.ly/BiwV50R8Jzf

New R01 grant award for accelerated MR and low-dose Gad in peds! 🧲👶🧠
Work will be led by Borjan Gagoski and Ellen Grant of Boston Children's and berkin of MGH Martinos Center in collaboration with Subtle Medical, Inc..

My experience is that zerodose Gd is either still a ways off or not really possible based on our experiments and the literature. But 10% works great - simple denoising where AI works great. & less Gd good 4 the environment! Tx Bayer Health for collaborating with us on this!
