New report by me and Jacqui Tassone presents findings from my review of AFP/ACT Policing response to sexual offences.
The review found that not only are sexual offences rarely charged, sexual offences are rarely investigated.

Today, we have released 2 new #StatisticalReports outlining the latest figures from the National Homicide Monitoring Program – Australia’s only national data collection on homicide incidents, victims and offenders.

NSW already has tough #bail laws that require the accused to show they should get bail in serious #DomesticViolence cases. This reverses the presumption of bail - but good #risk assessment is still missing in their implementation. Melbourne Law School abc.net.au/listen/program…
