Congratulations to Wigley Primary School Chesterfield for their Heritage Schools Award Historic England HE Midlands . With the help of their local community they collected stories from their locality which were made into a film and book which will be treasured for a long time.
Historic England worked with Warwickshire Police to help secure a conviction for illegal metal detecting. These crimes have consequences, depriving the public of important historical material and causing damage to protected sites.
