When Labour’s Jonathan Brash for Hartlepool MP talks about our town, he’s standing IN our town.

When the Conservative MP does it, she has to be photoshopped into the picture.

Sometimes you just have to laugh.

What Hartlepool needs from the budget:

➡️ A fairer deal for Hartlepool that cuts Council Tax
➡️ Investment in our hospital that returns services, like A&E
➡️ The green light for new technology at our power station and beyond that delivers jobs and cuts bills

It can’t be right that Hartlepool people are paying more Council Tax than millionaires in London.

Over the last decade the Conservatives have cut funding for Hartlepool by some £230million, forcing the burden onto Council Tax payers.

We need fair funding for Hartlepool.

Yet, last night the Conservatives voted to increase our Council Tax again… Labour voted against.

Yesterday, Hartlepool’s Conservative MP voted to amend the Rwanda bill because she said it wouldn’t work.

Today, when the big moment came, she bottled it and voted FOR the same flawed bill. She couldn’t stand up to Rishi.
