Yesterday marked the passing of a Johns Hopkins Medicine legend. Dr. Donlin M. Long passed away on September 19, 2023 at age 89, while trout fishing in Gettysburg, PA.
We lost a giant figure in neurosurgery. Dr. Long was a great surgeon, true visionary, and a steadfast friend.
