Haven't been on twitter for a hundred years, but just swung by for a second and saw this. Lovely news about a lovely book! #TheBookshopofSecondChances
Happy publication day to Sara Sheridan for the glorious #TheFairBotanists A lush sensory feast of a read featuring feisty women, seductive perfumes and a cracking story of secrets and skulduggery. (Warning: will make you crave friands and warm shortbread and flaky apple pie...)
I bought #HowtobeBroken after seeing Dr Emma Kavanagh 's twitter threads and can't describe how reassuring it's been to read an explanation of what's happening inside my head. Thank you for your courage in writing it Emma x
I was lucky enough to get a copy of #DaughtersofWar by Dinah Jefferies and it's one of those books where you emerge, blinking, and realise you've been reading for 3 hours and you've forgotten what year it is. Lush, vivid, tense and atmospheric. And heart-breaking. Out in Sept
For anyone looking for a wonderful weekend read, I can wholeheartedly recommend this gem by Nicola Cornick History, mystery, magic and romance, it kept me guessing to the very end (and planning a trip to Minster Lovell!) Atmospheric and utterly absorbing
Happy publication day to Liz Fenwick for this glorious, poignant WW1 gem! The perfect escape to Cornwall, and to the past #TheRiverBetweenUs
A new Jenny Ashcroft book is always a good reason to cancel all plans for the weekend and lay down supplies for a mammoth reading session. Chocolate is advisable, tissues essential. #UnderTheGoldenSun is a delicious heartbreaker of a read.
This is the most beautiful cover for the most beautiful book. I read it in the autumn and still think about it now. This is an edition I definitely need on my shelves #UnderTheGoldenSun Jenny Ashcroft
Well, this gem from Queen of Cornish fiction Liz Fenwick is the perfect read for a sunny long weekend. Or anytime really, as long as you’re not expected to talk to anyone. Or cook. Or do anything that isn’t turning the pages for 48 solid hours. Gripping and gorgeous 🥰
This month I'm stranding Jill Barry on my desert island. She's taking some fabulous books with her. wp.me/p2Yzov-y5 Romantic Novelists' Association #tuesnews Jojo Moyes Iona Grey is no longer here @TracyReesAuthor
This afternoon I've been writing a scene in which a chauffeur features, which means I have Duran Duran playing inside my head. #80sTeenager
Finished this beauty from Lorna Cook / Elle Cook at the weekend and am urging everyone to bump it up their TBR pile. It’s a gorgeous read with a heart-stopping, gasp-out-loud moment. Fab! #TheGirlfromtheIsland
After a long spell in the research desert I made the most glorious return to reading fiction with this gem. Oh Katie Marsh - my heart is so full, and was SO nearly shattered! (And I also felt I was right there in the lakes which was blissful.) A truly gorgeous read
Oooh, look - The Glittering Hour is a #kindlemonthlydeal for March! You can party like it's 1925, and all for 99p 🍸🥂🍾
