I’m convinced some (not all) skepticism of the idea of structural racism stems from simple ignorance of history. “Highway overpasses were built to keep poor and Black people out of state parks” is so shocking it just sounds implausible. But it happened. It’s a historical fact.

Hard agree. Boeing’s planes stayed in the sky when Machinists Union supplied its workforce. Gutting labor from Boeing hasn’t actually saved $ … planes falling apart midair is proving expensive … it’s only redistributed it upwards.
