“Respectfully Michal, you asked me that question with an incredulous tone in your voice, so let me answer you in an hysterically defensive, intellectually incoherent, hand-flapping tone…” BBC Radio 4 Today

I guess an optimistic reading of the Arizona decision (and many others) is that there’s one issue that might yet save American democracy in November - a woman’s right to an abortion.

But what a sick trade off for the “land of the free” to make.

That LBC caller and his kaleidoscopically chaotic world of railway-related fury is why I would crawl over broken glass to work in live radio. James O'Brien has the best job in Britain.

Ivor Wells Everyone Active London Aquatics Centre 100%. Unintuitive. Clicking for Competition Pool swimming timetable on your website just opens this, which has no information on lane swimming times. Unlike the old Better website which showed a timetable per day, rather than per activity.

What is it with the new Everyone Active booking system at the London London Aquatics Centre? It's complicated, clunky and impossible to simply find out when the pool is open for lane swimming. Was any user testing done before the rollout?

Martin Lewis puts to shame every last one of the flag-draped, Johnny-foreigner-kicking, conspiracy-spouting “champions of the British people and hardworking families up and down the country” who pollute our TV screens all the livelong day. Martin Lewis

10 minutes into on ITV and surprisingly I’m in bits and can barely watch. This still feels so raw. And to think of the political vandalism that was playing out on our TV screens, followed by the knuckle-dragging conspiracism that’s infected almost everything since.
