Anyone harassing and assaulting students, taking over buildings, or blocking access to education on our state campuses should be arrested and removed. Period. Full stop. Where is the Governor?

The reality is that Gavin Newsom has been completely absent when it comes to the housing issue. In fact, many of his regulatory agencies filled with people he appointed actively block housing.

Talking about the Democrats’ new hidden gas tax & the Super Majority’s rejection of legislation this week that would have provided more transparency during the crafting of legislation.

The city of Santa Monica has approved a new apartment complex for the homeless that will cost a staggering $1 million per unit. The $123 million project will include just 122 units. It was approved days after an audit found California spent $24 billion to tackle homelessness…

It’s simple. The Governor’s secret negotiations over legislative language are the opposite of transparency and democracy. NDAs should not be used to shield how that language was created. Period. Full stop.

What is happening at Yale and Columbia is not about free speech, it’s about fear and intimidation tactics and even physical assault to force one opinion, one viewpoint on everyone else. Agree with us or else. Disagree at your peril. And that is exactly why it must be stopped.

AB 2742’s bipartisan passage out of committee today is a step in the right direction. We need to send a signal that these dangerous highway blockings will no longer be tolerated. Enough is enough.
