We’re delighted to announce that Royal Liverpool Golf Club and Wallasey Golf Club will be joint host venues for the English Amateur Championship in 2025!

From 29th July-3rd August, the tournament will be contested by 204 men and 84 women over stroke play and then match play format.

Today marked the start of the Halford Hewitt's centenary tournament. 64 British schools' alumni playing foursomes in 10-man teams. Marquees, flags, and Andrew Reynolds, retired as Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club's long-time pro and now club captain. It's my 40th year here. Immense fun as always.

I was looking forward to visiting Royal Liverpool and it didn’t disappoint after the biblical storm passed. Great day with ⁦Philip Turner⁩ ⁦James Bledge⁩ and the guys looking at cutting more broad leaf grasses and hopefully collecting less top dressing
