Trócaire is appalled by the reports & images coming from the attacks on a camp for displaced civilians in Rafah yesterday. They are absolutely reprehensible and horrific.

Civilians & children must never be targets. These latest attacks are in clear breach of the ICJ's latest

Just spoke on Virgin Media News about the harrowing reality faced by the people of Gaza, deprived of basic necessities like food and clean water. The situation is dire, with famine imminent, and immense challenges lie ahead even with a ceasefire. Watch the clip below:

We do not accept the narrative of ‘regrettable incidents'.

We do not accept it, because what has happened to MSF International’s convoys and shelters, is part of a deliberate pattern of attacks on humanitarians, health workers, journalists, United Nations personnel, schools, and homes.

7 aid workers killed in Gaza by Israeli airstrike.

We stand with our friends World Central Kitchen as they mourn the horrific loss of their colleagues.

Aid workers must NEVER be a target.

196 aid workers had been killed in Gaza since October Aid Worker Security Database.

That number now rises over 200.

After a day’s delay, I have just crossed the Rafah crossing to visit MSF International teams in the Strip. The sea of humanity as you enter is overwhelming, people are everywhere. A ground invasion of Rafah would be catastrophic and must not be allowed to happen.

Thank you to the Financial Times for highlighting the world’s largest humanitarian crisis.

For which the United Nations appeal has raised 3.5% of its target.

That’s not a typo: 3.5%

It’s Sudan.
