Master's program alumn JianhangZhou '18 is a Project Assistant at USC. His main focus: MRI analyses relating diabetes, an Alzheimer disease risk factor, to aging brain structure & function. He also analyzes brain data for a DHA trial. Here, he presented at #sfn2019 in Chicago.

At SFN 2019, Project Assistant Deydeep Kothapalli gave his first conference talk ever - using minimum line integrals to calculate cortical thickness of medial temporal lobe structures from any ROI subregional mask. If we could see his face, I'm sure it would be all joy.

Last week at SFN 2019, Jianhang Zhou presented our pilot data relating hippocampal CA1 thickness to default mode network activity in non-demented older adults (CDR 0).

New preprint! Diving deeper into human cortical structure, we first assessed the reliability, then the heritability of cortical folding metrics such as sulcal width and depth, and finally identified sulci for which we can reliably detect genetic differences across hemispheres.
