We will #neverforget 12th Division Patrolman Thomas F. Kelly who was shot and killed in the line of duty in 1925. May he rest in eternal peace.
Another day, another thin blue line flag given out to a local precinct! My office was honored to present this flag - donated graciously by the people of New York City - to the NYPD 104th Precinct in recognition of the service and sacrifice their officers demonstrate each and every day.
My office was made aware of graffiti on the Addabbo/North Channel Bridge btwn Broad Channel & Howard Beach, and we immediately took action. We contacted our partners over at the National Parks Service and they got it cleaned up.
Thank you Gateway Natl Rec Area for taking care of this!
We will #neverforget NYPD Chief of Detectives Detective Joseph A.C. Kelly who was killed in the line of duty in 1932. May he rest in eternal peace.
We will #neverforget NYPD 6th Precinct Patrolman Humbert Morruzzi who was shot and killed in the line of duty in 1938. May he rest in eternal peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of Syracuse Police Department Police Officer Michael Jensen & Onondaga Co. Sheriff Lieutenant Michael Hoosock who were shot and killed in the line of duty. May God grant them eternal rest. #NeverForget
We will #neverforget NYPD 107th Precinct Patrolman Andrew James Reynolds who was killed in the line of duty in 1955. May he rest in eternal peace.
We will #neverforget NYPD 10th Precinct Patrolman Alfred A. Selleck who was shot and killed in the line of duty in 1907. May he rest in eternal peace.
Last year, Joann Ariola NYC Council District 32 and CMSelvenaBrooksPowers passed a law to create the Office of Marine Debris Disposal and Vessel Surrendering. Starting today, this NYC Parks office will create a safer environment for waterfront enjoyers and marine life by keeping our water clear of hazards.
