Another day, another thin blue line flag given out to a local precinct! My office was honored to present this flag - donated graciously by the people of New York City - to the NYPD 104th Precinct in recognition of the service and sacrifice their officers demonstrate each and every day.

My office was made aware of graffiti on the Addabbo/North Channel Bridge btwn Broad Channel & Howard Beach, and we immediately took action. We contacted our partners over at the National Parks Service and they got it cleaned up.

Our office is aware of a power outage in Ozone Park impacting about 500 residents. Con Edison is working on repairing this problem, and estimates that power will be completely restored by 2:30 PM.
