Spent a few hours this afternoon with our waste team and visiting the areas of the hospital making environmental improvements across our waste management processes - awesome work and leadership by James and Daryl Daryl Barnes and many others

Followed by a visit to our ophthalmic imaging team - somewhere I have never been but learnt a lot about the very high volume work they do as part of our patients care - pressurised and busy - thank you to you all University Hospital Southampton 💙

Did a great thing this AM visiting our eye theatres University Hospital Southampton 💙 Southampton Children's Hospital - amazing teamwork, some very complex stuff going on, amazing surgeons, theatre staff, leadership, just everyone really - just a huge thank you
