Year 8 students from Charlton School in the West Midlands recently embarked on a journey of teamwork and innovation with new partners Collins Aerospace! Designing aeroplanes, factory tours and creating balloon powered cars were just a few of highlights.

Blue Skies 2 students from Holyhead, North Wales, spent a memorable day with the local BAE Systems Air team, honing leadership skills, identifying personal strengths and taking on a series of teamwork and construction challenges.

#Leadership and #space were the themes of JonEggingTrust’s Oxfordshire Blue Skies session with our awesome partners RAL Space y’day. The students worked together to develop innovative ideas about how to land payloads on the moon+enjoyed spending the day at Harwell Campus.

JET Patron, Brian Cox, recently hosted students from JET school, Hadley Learning Community in Telford, at his sell-out Horizons tour.

Budding y11 physicists, Ronnie and Rocco, were delighted to meet Brian backstage where they quizzed him about their next steps at uni! 🚀🛰️

RNAS Culdrose welcomed 150 school children last week to learn about teamwork and engineering in an event organised by The JonEggingTrust. Pupils came from Cornish schools Helston Community College, Poltair School, Penryn College, Mounts Bay Academy and Penrice Academy Royal Navy

Blue Skies 1 students recently visited RAL Space in Oxfordshire, creating spacecraft, launching rockets and - incredibly – getting to meet reserve astronaut Dr Meganne Christian, who shared her inspiring career journey! What a day!

Blue Skies students from Oxon experienced a day of bringing workplace insights to life and showcasing the value of leadership and teamwork skills with AirTanker! Witnessing the Voyager team, the students gained an appreciation for the teamwork needed to support operations.✈️

The JonEggingTrust visited RAF Cosford earlier this week as part of their Blue Skies Programme.

The students took part in building an Air Traffic Control Tower using MTa Kits and then took part in command tasks at the low ropes area.

JET covered so much ground during our 2024 Annual Conference at Space Park Leicester. From delving into the theoretical framework of youth work, to a session on rocket propulsion with National Space Academy, there was a clear focus on expanding our reach and impact for all young people.
