“Liver transplant does not cure alcohol use disorder “. Providing addiction treatment embedded within transplant programs is key to improved outcomes, rather than excluding this patient population from a life saving treatment.

A great example of why lowering barriers to addiction treatment is so important. There should be no wrong door to treatment.
