We had the privilege of hosting a Women Leaders Forum in Kajiado County Government County. Partnering with UN Women Kenya , and Global Affairs Canada , the event was led by County Women Rep Hon. Hon. Leah Sankaire , nominated women at the Kajiado County Assembly, and the assembly's secretariat.

The National Treasury & Economic Planning & PlanningKE CS Prof. Njuguna Ndung’u & Korean Ambassador to Kenya HE Sung-jun Yeo today signed a Ksh 980.5million grant aid agreement , aimed at improving & strengthening of Maternal & Newborn Healthcare in Kajiado County Government. Korea in Kenya

According to the agreement, the grant will see construction of maternal shelters, initiate community programs, provide medical equipments & capacity building for health workers. Present during the signing was Kajiado County Government Gov. Joseph Ole Lenku EGH & other technical officers.

The teams held fruitful discussions on strengthening health services, emergency response and cross border surveillance among others. Dr Diallo presented a consignment of medicines and equipment worth $31,866.23 (over KES 5 M) as both partners pledged further support

WHO Kenya team today visited Kajiado County where it was hosted by Govnr Joseph ole Lenku. The visit was a return gesture after a visit to WHO, Sept 2023. The team led by Rep Dr A Diallo was also accompanied by deputy British High Commissioner Ms L Stubblefield & Dr D Wako, CDC

H E Govnr Lenku showed the team around the Kajiado referral hospital, new Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) supported by CDC Kenya & partners, the Commodities & Baby/Mother Centres. He thanked WHO and partners for the continued support & commitment to health

The 🇬🇧&🇰🇪are working together to progress the delivery of universal health services all across Kenya.

In Kajiado County Government, 🇬🇧 Development Director Leigh Stubblefield saw first-hand the strength of the 🇬🇧-🇰🇪 health workforce partnership.
