We’re strengthening our defence partnership with Germany🇬🇧🇩🇪

Yesterday we announced we’re taking defence spending to 2.5% of GDP by 2030.

And today Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is in Berlin to announce a joint investment in Boxer artillery systems.

🇬🇧 will provide 🇺🇦 the largest-ever package of military aid to push back the Russian invasion:

🔹60 boats
🔹1,600 strike and air defence missiles
🔹additional Storm Shadow missiles
🔹400 vehicles
🔹4m rounds of small arms ammunition.

Beautiful start to an exciting week for us UK in Germany with the Prime Minister visiting Berlin for meetings with Chancellor Scholz on Wednesday.

Hope the weather looks more like this than this afternoon’s snow and hail!
