Amazing festival with amazing people! Huge congratulations to everyone, especially Libby Burgess and Roland Deller.

This time last week we were just getting started!

Dame Gillian on fine form, telling anecdotes of old but plenty of home truths about music, as ever she did. Brilliant concert last night by Harriet Burns Libby Burgess Fenella Humphreys and great performances by Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Organ Department students today. I’ve been totally spoilt by New Paths Music 🥰🙏

Humbling to be part of this incredible festival, performing Finzi 5 Bagatelles, Mozart Quintet and more to the warm generous audiences @newpathsmusic this weekend. Libby Burgess Roland Deller you two are absolute superstars for creating such a magical experience for us all.

I normally say something gushing at this point but am too tired to put words together. Brilliant week, brilliant people, brilliant music. Special times.

In Beverley, stumbled by chance on New Paths Music festival. Wow! Heard 3 glorious concerts - fantastic programming + fab playing. Superb Schumann from Harriet Burns, Alessandro Fisher and Libby Burgess tonight. And great to hear Fenella Humphreys - fond memories of playing St Mary The Boltons !
