As well as making it safer outside the School for the Deaf it also has made it easier for people living in the area to cycle to Baggot Estate!

Shannon Bridge lane has 400 trip per day (12,000 a month). And the recent Sustrans study surveyed over 1,000 people. 76% support more cycle lanes even when car space is reduced.

My uncle is not able to drive because his eyesight is too weak to qualify for a license... However those new cycle paths have him looking for a new bike as we speak
