Yes! At the moment, it’s a postcode lottery as to whether a patient will be offered the option of a low carb approach which may lead to much better control or remission of type 2 diabetes. A systemic NHS change is badly needed.

I have saved myself from eating at least 5kg Metformin, forget about SU drugs and insulin. A1C of 5.6 max, 14th yr as Type 2 diabetic on absolutely zero pills.

No doctor visits since Feb 2012. Saved a lot of money there too.
