What a privilege to be Manchester Cathedral this evening to celebrate this anniversary with Cherry Vann preaching and Karen Best presiding. 31 were ordained Diocese of Manchester 30 years ago last week - and we rejoice in this ministry

Tonight a special service was held at Manchester Cathedral to celebrate and honour the impact of women’s ministry in our diocese.

This film was shared featuring some of the first women to be ordained in Manchester; those serving as priests today; and the men who have supported them.

Our first Lunchtime Bible Studies group takes place this Sun 5 May in the Cathedral Library. Led by Cathedral Missioner Grace this will be a relaxed, friendly way to explore the bible & faith together. Bring your own lunch and we'll provide the tea & coffee. All welcome.

Our free Coffee Concerts return this Saturday 4 May at 11am!
This week will see James Gillett (Piano), Adam Jarman (Baritone), Patrick Osborne (Baritone) perform in the stunning surrounds of our Nave.
