Today is #WorldBrailleDay ! Braille is a code that enables blind and visually impaired people to read and write. It’s nearly 200 years old, and it’s based on a system of raised dots that are ‘read’ by fingertips.

In July, we delivered our petition signed by 15,817 people to Network Rail and Department for Transport, asking them to install tactile paving across the rail network to make stations safe for blind and partially sighted people.
