A windy, cloudy start to the day, but more sunshine is in store this afternoon. Sunshine and 60s are back for the weekend!

Showers are trying to move north into the area this morning., but dry air is making it tough.

Anyone in Racine or Kenosha counties seeing rain right now?

A dry start, and there will be plenty of dry time if you want to get outside today.

A better chance for more widespread rain increases later this afternoon.

The partial eclipse is already visible in Milwaukee. The maximum eclipse here is set for 2:08PM.

Throwback to living and working the the path of totality during the 2017 eclipse (and the one time I saw sun that day during a small break in the overcast skies)

Update!

Looking more certain that higher totals are possible rather northwest.

Rain transitions to snow this evening. The biggest travel impacts are expected tonight and tomorrow morning.

Rain is falling now, but we see a change to SNOW late tomorrow into Wednesday.

Road impacts are most likely Tuesday night and Wednesday AM.

This is a complex forecast with plenty of time for things to change. Stay tuned for updates! And no, this isn't an April Fools joke...
