Team called to assist @ Gawton Gravity Hub at Gawton near #BereAlston . A 16 year old downhill race competitor had hit a tree, been catapulted down a slope and sustained head trauma and neck/back injuries. He was immobilised in a vacuum mattress and stretchered/handed over to paramedics.

'The initial call for help came from two people lost on the top of #KinderScout . It was dark and misty and weather was poor, so we needed to find them quickly.' - Kinder #MountainRescue Team.

At 13:55 on Thur 30th Nov 2023, Calder Valley SRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the extraction of a walker who had fallen on Harden Moor, suffering a lower leg injury.

Incident 140 - Wed 29th Nov 2023. Derbyshire Police asked us to attend to a walker who had fallen on ice in Cavedale, sustaining a leg injury. We carried out a joint deployment with Buxton Mountain Rescue Team. Located, splinted and stretchered down an icy Cavedale to East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Inc. 139 - Thu 23 Nov 2023 23:40hrs. Request from Derbyshire Police to an injured walker who had taken a tumble in the Speedwell Cavern area of Winnats Pass. After an assessment of his injuries, he was stretchered down slope to East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust for transportation to hospital.

#Incident Two walkers benighted in worsening conditions in the Cheviot Hills rescued by NNPMRT North of Tyne SRT volunteers on Monday evening, all ended well

Recent Team Training saw our volunteers exploring the furthest reaches of Bagshaw Cavern, training on our surface to underground Nicola radio systems, stretcher packaging and how to manoeuvre casualties through the narrow, twisting and generally awkward sections.

Incident 137 -Sunday 19 Nov 2023. Derbyshire Police tasked us an Buxton Mountain Rescue Team to to a fallen walker with a lower leg injury in the upper Cavedale . A splinted ankle and then a wet and windy evacuation back towards Rowter Farm then driven to Castleton, then conveyed to hosp by friends

Overnight search at Gt Ayton on behalf of North Yorkshire Police and supported by Mountain Rescue Search Dogs Eng (NE) and SRMRT. Vulnerable missing person found cold & wet by local resident. 18 members, 8-hours. Details:

Team called yesterday to assist a cold and lost walker. We deployed from Peat Cot and located her & dog near Broad Rock. We warmed her up with an extra jacket & hot coffee before escorting her off the Moor, standing down the Police helicopter which had arrived to help. #Dartmoor
