Burnin_T_Ranch I argued with the State cop that Indiana law does not require us to register guns. He finally gave it back and let me go with a warning, after multiple phone calls.
But Indiana is completely different, the law still has common sense around here.

Burnin_T_Ranch Twice I’ve had officers ask where the gun is and I’d tell them it’s beside my seat, they said ok no problem, gave a warning and let me go, never asked for my carry permit or to see the gun.

Burnin_T_Ranch They do in MI as well, had a few completely different experiences there, not so good,but the worst was the state cop taking me back to his car, taking my gun, running it and me through every database and searching my car, he tried to keep my gun cause it’s not registered.
