Our team presented yesterday at the #NCTRNationalSymposium for Educator Preparation, Policy, & Leadership. They engaged in conversations that drive forward the support of teachers from historically marginalized communities. NCTR AACTE Reach University

Day 3 at #NCTRNationalSymposium kicked off w/ a panel feat. our collaborators (AACTE, Deans for Impact, The Hunt Institute, National Board, & Teacher-Powered), followed by breakout sessions. Our hope is that these important conversations & connections continue to spark change. ❤️

In regards to coming out of the pandemic, Dr. Ladson-Billings, “Let’s not go back to normal.” Why would we want to go back to normal when normal wasn’t what was best? #NCTRNationalSymposium

“We don’t have to keep doing what we’ve been doing.” AKAdemic opening day 2 of the #NCTRNationalSymposium joining Pope Francis in claiming all the crises we face are windows of opportunity to live differently. Students and teachers deserve different.

Advice from AKAdemic at Day 2 of #NCTRNationalSymposium about how to reset and think differently in teacher-preparation: Expose more folks to teaching.
